This high school World History course provides students with a comprehensive, intensive study of major events and themes in world history geared toward preparing the students for the academic rigors of college. The course will follow the Department of Education of Puerto Rico standards and Public Schools Instructional Guidelines.

Compare and contrast the leadership styles of people like Roosevelt, Hitler, and Churchill, among others. 4. Know the history and characteristics of WWII. 5. Reflect on the social and economic consequences of WWII.

Describe situations where technology leads to conflicts and changes in values, beliefs, and attitudes of societies. 3. Demonstrate ability to think in terms of global causes and effects. 4.
